Privacy Policy
Effective September 23, 2026
This policy describes how Ascenta Studio ("Ascenta", "we", "us"), a brand operated by La Factoria LLC (Delaware, USA), handles personal information. We keep it simple because we collect very little.
1. What we collect
- Contact information you send us — if you email us or send a project enquiry, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us about your business.
- Enquiry source — when you submit a form, we include campaign labels from the current page URL, if present, and the referring website hostname to understand where enquiries come from. We do not store these labels in cookies or browser storage.
- Business information for your website — content you provide so we can build and maintain your site.
- Basic server logs — like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
Anonymous website event counts
We count page loads and fixed actions such as viewing prices, opening the enquiry form and delivery errors. These aggregate counters contain no names, email addresses, message text, IP addresses, visitor identifiers or cookies. They measure actions, not unique people. Standard hosting logs remain separate.
Meta Pixel on our page for product brands
Our page for product brands (ascentastudio.com/brands)
uses the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API
to measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform. When you visit that
page, Meta receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the
page you are on, what you do there (for example, opening one of our sample
sites or sending an enquiry) and a first-party cookie (_fbp) set
by the pixel. If you send an enquiry from that page, we also send Meta a hashed
(SHA-256) copy of your email address so it can tell which ad brought it; Meta
cannot read the address from the hash. Meta processes this data under its own
privacy policy.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the pixel does not load and nothing is sent to Meta unless you press Allow in the notice on that page. You can change your choice at any time at ascentastudio.com/brands#cookies. You can also control how Meta uses this data in your Meta ad preferences.
The rest of this website sets no advertising cookies.
Google Analytics
Our home page and our page for product brands use Google Analytics
to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, how long they stay,
roughly where they are (country and city, worked out from the IP address, which
Google Analytics does not store) and which ad or website brought them. It sets
first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*). Google processes
this data under its own
privacy policy; you can opt out
with Google's opt-out add-on.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland,
Google Analytics does not load unless you press Allow in the notice on
ascentastudio.com/brands, the same choice that covers
the Meta Pixel.
2. How we use it
- To respond to you, discuss your project and deliver our services.
- To bill the subscription you signed up for.
- To keep our services secure and improve them.
We do not sell or rent personal information. Ever.
3. Who we share it with
Only service providers we need to operate: hosting infrastructure, payment processing (e.g. Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers) email, the messaging service used to notify us of enquiries, Meta Platforms for measuring our ads on the page described above, and Google for Google Analytics. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
4. Email
If we contact your business, every message identifies us, includes our postal address and contains a working way to opt out. Tell us to stop and we stop.
5. Retention
We keep client information for as long as you are a client and as long as required for tax and legal records afterwards. Prospect information we delete on request.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond promptly.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland: we process personal data on the legal bases of contract performance (delivering the services you request) and legitimate interest (responding to enquiries, keeping our services secure), and your consent for the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. You additionally have the rights to data portability, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Because part of our team works from Spain and our infrastructure providers operate in the United States, data may be processed in both regions; we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses for such transfers.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new effective date here.
